Csdpmi.zip Download: A Free and Reliable Solution for DOS Memory Management

Users should not have to go hunting around for supplementary files that were never provided in the download for the product. Why does sbminst.exe need to access extended memory? The 68KB sbminst.exe program can't manage to run in the first 640KB of physical memory? Why does it need to run in protected mode, especially when using a *DOS* bootable floppy and nothing of Windows (any version)? Looks more like the compile for the .exe got screwed up.

It would appear that the cwsdpmi issue is a simple mistake of a dev (me) not reading the manual. DJGPP loads cwsdpmi automatically. When I started another instance of Dosbox that didn't have a DJGPP install, I received the same error as DSH3LL. I added cwsdpmi to the download page. Hopefully it works now.

I also had issues running this under DOSBox version 0.74.3.0 with my OS being Win 10. The error I got was:Load error: no DPMI - Get csdpmi*b.zipI googled it and it seemed downloading cwsdpmi.exe was supposed to help but I got a page fault error after dropping cwsdpmi.exe into the same directory as MINESWEE.EXE. I downloaded from " "

Had to download CWSDPMI.EXE to get it to run on DOSBox under Win 10. When it ran, it only came up with the background and didn't seem to respond to any mouse clicks or key presses, and nothing useful appeared in DOSBox consoler either. Maybe I did something wrong. :(

PMODE/W is a DOS extender that you can use with that Watcom and OpenWatcom C/C++ compiler. It is designed to be a drop-in replacement for DOS4GW.EXE.You can also get PMODE/W by downloading the OpenWatcom C/C++ Compiler listed on theFree C/C++ Compilers page.

Hip Hip Hurray, a necrobump! *ratatatatata...*I wasn't sure whether to create a new thread or not, but considering why I posted the original thread in the first place...The original reason I wanted to compile the latest mbf-fix is because it lacked the demo desync bug. An idea came to me: Put Crispy Doom's demo fix into Boom. That way I can ignore mbf and use Boom instead, as the only reason I wanted to use mbf in the first place is for multiplayer demo recording. With the source changed, I downloaded what I thought was needed to compile Boom. I was wrong. Here is my djgpp manifest, minus Allergo 3.0 of course.edit: I'm an idiot. I missed gcc2721b.zip somehow. Please disregard this post.edit 2: Please disregard the message telling you to disregard this post. I have achieved success. 2ff7e9595c
